Md. Ariful Islam is a highly accomplished Software Engineer and educator with over 5 years of professional experience building scalable, production-grade web applications for government and international clients. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer I at Brain Station 23 PLC, Ariful combines strong engineering fundamentals with real-world project leadership—making him an ideal mentor for aspiring MERN stack developers. His background in large systems, research-driven problem solving, and modern web architecture ensures students learn how MERN works not just in theory, but in real production environments.

Professional Experience

Senior Software Engineer I at Brain Station 23 PLC
At Brain Station 23, Ariful works on complex, enterprise-level applications where scalability, performance, and clean architecture are critical. His day-to-day responsibilities align closely with MERN stack best practices—designing RESTful APIs, building backend services with Node.js–style architectures, managing data flows similar to MongoDB-driven systems, and collaborating with frontend teams to deliver seamless React-based user experiences. He has led feature development, mentored teammates, and solved high-impact engineering problems in Web3 and distributed systems—experience that directly translates into teaching structured, real-world MERN development.

Former Associate Software Engineer at Robust Research and Development Ltd.
Earlier in his career, Ariful contributed to large-scale government software systems, including applications used by Bangladesh Customs. He helped design and implement backend services, optimized workflows, and reduced manual processing time through well-structured APIs and data-driven systems. These experiences strengthened his understanding of full-stack application flow—from frontend interaction to backend logic and database design—core foundations of MERN stack development.

Teaching & Mentorship Strength

As an instructor, Md. Ariful Islam brings clarity, structure, and problem-solving depth to his teaching. He has solved countless real-world engineering challenges involving application architecture, API design, data modeling, and frontend-backend integration. His teaching approach focuses on how MERN is used in real software teams, helping students write clean code, think like engineers, and build job-ready projects with confidence.
